Processing speed, Ram and Hard Drive space do not matter if your network infrastructure is not installed properly or up to standards.
This is a MUST have in open office space where distractions are HIGH and privacy is LOW. Our products can reduce distractions by 52% and Increase productivity by 48%
Incorporating in July of 2003 as CCSG Inc. (Custom Communications Services group), we started off with a HUGE project installing well over 67 miles of Cat-5e for NMCI Network cabling. Giving us a big jump right out of the gate!
By 2005, we had started to spread our wings, by picking up a few Sub-contracts with other local communication and electrical companies. It was during this time we discovered our talents were in the private commercial arena!
2010 started, many changes in this industry. The biggest one for the state of Florida was, that Low-Voltage companies are now required to be licensed by the state. Furthermore, these companies are now required to pull permits in all requiring jurisdictions, when performing this type of work, and must successfully pass a final inspection. We were one of the 1st 1000 licenses issued state wide.
10 Years in, and still going strong!
As with all small businesses, each milestone requires recognition, as it marks the success and growth of the company. The 10 year mark shows this company not only survived it's infancy, but has moved up to be an established entity in this community.

A Complete upgrade of communication cabling.
Due to the security risk, no pictures are provided for this project other than public release.
As with all projects, there are always challenges. However, this project was special right off from the start. For starters, it was an active building on a very busy naval base. It was also the building used for station training while sailors were not out to sea, so all cabling work was to be completed between the hours of 6:00pm and 2:00am.
NMCI or Naval Marine Corps Intranet consisted of “Classified” and “Unclassified” cables, not to mention the Classified and Unclassified “Mission Critical” cables. Mission Critical cables go to the same location as the Non-Mission critical outlets; however, they have to take a completely different path to get there.
Even though there was much more NMCI cabling going on across the base, this ONE building that we were issued, was considered over 80% of the whole base. This building was separated in to 12 different sections, with each section getting approximately 40 – 45 outlets of each type. (160 – 180). This ended up being a total of 2016 – 2028 cables or over 67 miles of Cat-5e.
There were 2 rack rooms servicing 6 sections each and consisting of 4 racks each. (1 – Unclassified, 1 – Unclassified Mission Critical, 1 – Classified, 1 – Classified Mission Critical) Each rack contained a total of 6 48-port patch panels. All cables were label wrapped and terminated in a neat and functional manner.
All outlet locations were “Wall-Fished” and terminated in a wall plate with a low-voltage ring. All Cables were label wrapped as well as labeling the wall plates. All cables were Tested/Certified from End to End and presented to owner in a printed report.
Mutiple Projects
Analog Telephone Frame Removal ProjectPhase 1 of this project was the complete removal of the old PBX BIX Frame (located on the ground floor) and ALL 25-Pair cables running to each floor's IDF. All Bix blades were removed along with each correcponding 25-pair cable. All cross connects were removed and documented to be re-activated after frame removal and new termination blocks were installed. The building utilizes 10 Cisco Voice Gateways to provide standard telephone service to certain departments and devices such as fax machines. So, there was 1 25-pair was left on each floor for these or any other connections needed or already in use. |

Analog Telephone IDF Removal ProjectPhase 2 of the above project also involved each IDF located on each floor. (1st - 11th) This included removal of all Cat-3 horizontal cabling, removeal of all Bix termination blocks and cleanup of each floors backboard area. Any active analog phone connections were re-terminatated to a 110 block and were re-crossed to the single 25-pair left behind from phase 1 of this project. Below of a few Before and After pictures of the IDFs. |

5th Floor Data consolidation and Clean Up.There were several issues with the 5th Floor IDF network rack, that was to be corrected on this project. For starters to comply with local codes, the whole data rack needed to be moved back 11" to accomidate an electrical panel door. Secondly, the data rack did not have any Vertical wire management and needed to be cleaned up. Last, the client wanted to change all the patch panels to angled High Denseity panels to free up more room in the rack. Here are a few before and after pictures. |
